My name is Lalita Dasa. Lalita means "bliss", it is also the name of the Hindu goddess of sexual pleasure and deviant sexuality. Dasa means "servant of". And a truer servant of bliss I have never met. The adoption of the name Dasa symbolizes a devotion and dedication to either the deity themselves or the ideals which they represent. Many scholars in ancient and medieval India took the suffix Dasa to show their adoration for either a king or a diety.
All my life I have been a student of human sexuality. Ever since my earliest years as a young woman people have come to me for advice on all things sexual. At 14 I was asked "Can my hymen grow back?" At 17 I was asked "How do lesbians have sex?" And at 19 I was asked "What does an orgasm feel like? How will I know I've had one?" I always answered honestly and if I didn't know the answer ("How often does a man masterbate in a day?") I found out.
I read everything I can on the subjects of sexual technique, sexual problem solving, and sexual psychology. I also interview every lover, every friend, and every other person I possibly can. I want to make every experience the best it can be, for me, for my partner and for everyone. We all deserve great sex.To do this I have adopted the persona of Lalita Dasa a ganika (courtesa de luxe) in the great city of Patalaputra during the early 6th century CE. As a ganika I would be highly prized by society for my extensive education including the sixty-four arts, my beauty, my wit, and my sexual skills.
